This work grew from several community and state initiatives since November 1993. By developing community-based supports and services, the aim is to enhance the well-being of children, which is inseparable from the well-being of their families and the stability and economic viability of the communities where they live. The Ripley County Caring Community Partnership is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 corpora

tion that has been designated by the state of Missouri to serve as a local governance partnership, the decision-making entity that partners with the state of Missouri and local communities to plan, develop, finance and monitor strategies designed to achieve our six core results.

New Recovery Support Group Launches in Doniphan
Doniphan, MO – Ripley County Partnership is launching a new weekly Recovery Support Group to help individuals maintain sobriety and rebuild their lives through practical, long-term support.
The group will meet every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., beginning February 20, 2026, at 209 W. Highway Street in Doniphan. Parking is available, and the entrance is on the west side of the building.
This free, community-based program is open to individuals working toward sustained recovery. In addition to peer support, participants will receive guidance in key life areas, including financial responsibility, credit repair, income tax basics, parenting, employment, education, and daily life management.
“Our goal is to provide real tools and real support for people who are serious about moving forward. “This is about helping individuals build stability, confidence, and independence.”
The group is especially dedicated to supporting individuals transitioning from treatment programs, Drug Court, or probation, and those seeking continued accountability in their recovery journey.
For more information, community members may contact Lisa Aden at (573)996-7980 at the Ripley County Partnership or attend the first meeting on February 20.

Attention MO HealthNet and SNAP Participants: Look for the yellow envelope! The Family Support Division (FSD) will be mailing Annual Renewal forms and SNAP Mid-Certification Review forms in yellow envelopes. Make sure to complete and sign the forms inside and return them to FSD.
