OUR MISSION is to secure funding, as a 501(c)(3), to manage invasive species in Lake Seminole, in a collaboratively but timely manner with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, for the benefit of the Lake Seminole Stakeholders. Army Corps of Engineers, property owners on Lake Seminole, bordering communities, and the federal, state, and local governments that benefit from the recreation, revenue, and taxes that the Lake Seminole resource generates.

6𝙏𝙃 𝘼𝙉𝙉𝙐𝘼𝙇 𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙀𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙎 & 𝙍𝘼𝙁𝙁𝙇𝙀 𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙏𝘼𝘾𝙐𝙇𝘼𝙍!
Mark your calendars! The 6th Annual “Fireworks on the Drain” will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 9:30pm (weather permitting*). Social hour and raffle drawings will start at 8:00pm.
This is a major fundraising event for the Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department and a great way to show community support while enjoying amazing fireworks! Thanks to the generosity of the Criswell/Hoffman families covering all fireworks costs, 100% of all donations will go directly to the SCVFD. The goal is to raise $50,000.00 PLUS to support the equipment needs of this very integral and essential community resource.
Raffle tickets for fabulous prizes are available NOW for just $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Winning ticket owners will have their choice from remaining prizes. You do NOT need to be present to win and will be awarded the highest value remaining prize when the winning ticket is drawn. Click below for a partial list of prizes and other details:

A sincere Thank You to the nearly 700 people who signed the Confirmation of Appreciation and Support! The USACE and other important contacts were very impressed by the amount of community backing for the work being done to preserve and enhance Lake Seminole in collaboration with the Stewards.
More than 100 people also took the time to submit unsolicited comments of encouragement as well as personal observations of how the lake’s health has improved along with some long-time recreational memories. Thank you for those as well, which were passed along during the recent meetings!

Meetings with the Corps of Engineers and GA DNR begin April 22nd. Your confirmation of support is important to counter a few negative activists trying to shut down government support of managing invasive aquatic vegetation to preserve and enhance Lake Seminole.
