We're a project of the Dolores Family Project.

Located in Joe Rowell Park, the Dolores Community Garden is a volunteer-run project aimed at providing fresh produce and horticultural education opportunities to members of our community and beyond.

What a glorious day, Dolorians! Our garden team is overflowing with excitement and we're bursting to get our garden flourishing, but we need your kindness and generosity to make it happen! We're reaching out to see if you can spare a few vital items to help us sow the seeds of community spirit and get our garden growing with love and compassion before we explore other purchasing options.

These are the items needed:
Shade triangles for above the garden
Shade cloth for the fence
Lattice piece about 4' x 6'
Shovels (2)
Garden fork

Our grow season is starting soon! If you would like to help plan or volunteer at the garden, meet us next Tuesday 3/17 at the garden at 1pm!
Come meet the garden team and help plan our garden! We all look forward to meeting everyone!

Cucumbers, squash, snap peas, bell peppers, jalapeños, pablanos, habeneros, cayenne and Anaheim chilies all delivered to the Dolores Senior Meals on Wheels!! 🥒🫑🌶🫛

Our beautiful garden is thriving! 🌾🌿
We harvested all of our radishes last week. We didn't get many but what we got were delicious! These were gifted to some of our backpack families. 😋
If you would like some sweet snap peas and mint, message me! We are harvesting some today. 🫛🌱
Unfortunately we have to keep the garden locked but if you would like to visit, message me and I'll give you the combination to visit.
If you would like to help with the garden we are also looking for volunteers! 🧑🏽‍🌾👩🏽‍🌾
Stop by and visit, read a book or sing to the plants! They'll show you love back! 😉
