Hardin Northern Ag Department The FFA chapter at Hardin Northern schools has approx 60 members who dedicate their time to service learning and enhancing their leadership skills.

The Hardin Northern FFA chapter is located in Northwest Ohio. We are a chapter of around 75 members who strive to become better agriculture leaders for ourselves and our community.

Last week, Hardin Northern FFA students joined our Quest FCU Board Meeting to share their state project and express appreciation for our support.

This talented team constructed an adjustable-height welding table, earning them 4th overall at the State FFA Convention! Outstanding work!

We wrapped up day 2 of State Convention and have so much to be proud of!

This morning started with recognition of our awesome officers that earned their gold rated Officer books!

After some lunch and time spent at the Expo we attended the Fifth Session-A where we heard FFA Member Hailey Miesse perform as a part of the Ohio FFA Band and 2025-2026 Ohio FFA President Carter Boyd gave his inspiring retiring address on the road trip of life. Our convention ended seeing senior FFA member Mariann Woodruff go across the stage and earn her Ohio FFA State Degree.

Day 1 of Ohio FFA Convention kicked off right! We headed to Columbus early this morning to attend the opening session where we were recognized for our support of the Ohio FFA Chapter Trust Fund.

We heard from Keynote Speaker Brad Hurtig spoke about perseverance and finding a way, even when it seems impossible.

Then we grabbed some lunch at BD’s Mongolian Grill and cheered on our Ag. Mechanics Engineering Team as they competed in the finals.

Lastly, we wrapped up the day being inspired by the finalists for the Top Chapters in the state of Ohio at the second general session.

To end the night we spent some time at Dave and Busters for some good food and fun!
