June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month – a time to shine a light on the importance of brain health and to support the millions of individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
This month is an opportunity to learn, connect, and take action. For some, that may mean recognizing early signs, adopting habits that support brain health, or simply showing compassion to those walking this path. It is also the reminder of the power of community; sharing experiences, accessing resources, and finding support can make a meaningful difference.
We invite you to join us in raising awareness, reducing stigma, and fostering understanding. Together, we can create a more supportive and informed community.
If you’d like to register for any upcoming program, please contact Hailey at 608-426-0185 or [email protected].

SWCAP is one of 16 Community Action Agencies in Wisconsin. Our Board includes elected local public officials, low-income community representatives, and appointed private sector leaders. In continuing to follow Head Start Act regulations, SWCAP is seeking a licensed attorney familiar with issues that come before the governing body.
Meetings are held once a month in Dodgeville, and virtually. For more information about our current programs, please visit our website athttps://swcap.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/love-where-you-live.pdf
