Next Tuesday 6/23 at 9:30 am to 11:15 am. Free for Seniors guided painting Class with all materials provided. Grandchildren are welcome to paint as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Suggested donation for non-seniors is 10 dollars.

We really want people to gather with each other - that's part of our mission as a nonprofit community center. The M&M Board agreed to DECREASE some of our rental room rates, now that our two meeting rooms are permanently booked!

Parents -- you can rent the Nursery or Cozy Room just to get your kids out of the house and have a new place to play!

Friends -- get a group to cook together in the kitchen! Make your favorite bulk foods on our expansive counters, and you can even rent our canning and labeling equipment!

Families -- rent the Cozy Room for a game night or movie night! We have a comfy couch and a projector available!

Local orgs -- have your meetings here, or gather for socials! We give out special rates for several bookings, if you're looking for something monthly.

Merrimac & Main is on a summer hiatus! The Rec Room & Recovery Group are still in operation over the summer, but otherwise our building is pretty quiet for the next few months. We are already working on our fall calendar and will announce that by early August. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out the community calendar hosted by the Dodgeville Area Chamber of Commerce -- there's a lot of great stuff happening nearby!

We’re hosting a Brainstorm Session on Wednesday, May 27 at 5:00 PM! Come in through the glass doors on Main Street, and walk down the hall to your left into the Fellowship Hall.

We’ll start planning our Sep-Dec 2026 calendar!

We really, really, really want to hear your best & worst ideas for events & programs at our nonprofit community center. Want more lectures? Less music? A monthly potluck? Have a wild idea about a live game show where you get your friends to date each other??

We can’t promise we’ll make everything happen — but we do really want to hear your ideas! Bring a friend, or an enemy if you’re feeling brave, and join the conversation.

What a wonderful visit with Mayhem to Manners Dog Training! We were incredibly impressed by not only the dogs’ training and skills, but also how calm, attentive, and well-loved they clearly are. If you have a dog who needs their training fine tuned or even just started at all, please reach out to them! They have a puppy class starting June, but also offer training for dogs of any age!

We had a fantastic time asking questions, watching demonstrations, and learning more about dog behavior and training.

A huge thank you to Mayhem to Manners for sharing your time, knowledge, and amazing dogs with us — you made the afternoon both educational and heartwarming! 🐾💙
