Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas Founded in 1991, the Community Foundation helps to match donors with charitable causes to improve the quality of life in Southwest Kansas.

The Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas gives citizens of the area the opportunity to make a lasting gift to a community which has been good to them. The Foundation pools the assets and represents the ideas and interest of people who want to increase the impact of their philanthropy. It is not a place to give money, but rather a method for giving money. The Foundation receives and manages cap

ital of all amounts from individuals, families, businesses and foundations. The income from this capital is applied to uses that serve the best interests of the community. The Foundation offers a very personal way for any citizen to make a meaningful contribution to the quality of life in Southwest Kansas; a gift in perpetuity to charity or to a field of interest; the earnings of a gift which can be applied to charities which need it most; a memorial gift—gifts which will make Southwest Kansas a better place in which to live and work.

The Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas is offering schools, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations an open grant opportunity to help improve the quality of life and support current issues in Southwest Kansas.

WOMEN OF INSPIRATION

The Women of Inspiration are excited to announce. We are partnering with Ross Elementary in Dodge City for their Annual Food Drive Feb 10-14, 2025

Each year in February the students and staff at Ross Elementary located at 3001 6th Avenue in Dodge City, KS collects non-perishable food items. All the items collected are donated to Manna House. This is an amazing project that helps those in need in our community.

Satanta High School English teacher Ryan Burrows accepted a grant check tonight from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas (CFSK) in the amount of $530 on behalf of the SPIAA League English teachers for the group's annual Big Read project.
