The Mariah Fund, Inc. (a Private Foundation) Bringing Kansas Tourism to life thru funding Cultural, Heritage & Tourism projects in 22 Counties of SW Kansas!

The Mariah Fund also considers funding of projects that are not neccessarily a 'tourist destination' but still play a complimentary and supporting role in the delivery of services and experiences to area guests. Mariah fund may also consider funding for improvement of historical buildings and infrastructures that improve the appearance and reception of Dodge City and other communities within the South West Kansas Tourism Region comprised of twenty-two Counties.

I have already used the cowboy silhouettes as a photo of the day, but I was out there again tonight for a quick family photo and the sky was too awesome to not shoot it again. I think this one is better than the one from earlier in the year!

When you realize the weekend is over…

Never hurts to “paws” and reflect on the day and what you hope the new week brings. (Or where you put that half-eaten salmon you were saving for dinner.)

What’s this bear thinking? Maybe it’s just enjoying the view? Adult brown bears actually lead fairly solitary lives and are fine to entertain themselves. As an extroverted introvert, they don’t mind socializing when there is abundant food or during mating season. Okay, who brought the salmon bites again?
