To the Rodeo Queen Moms:
Thank you.
Thank you for the countless hours you’ve spent helping study. For endless miles driven to rodeos, pageants, clinics, and everywhere in between.
Thank you for learning how to do hair and makeup right alongside us, and for dollar amounts we don’t want to think about spent investing in our passion.
Thank you for cheering us on in the heat of competition, and for being the face we look for on our first lap around the arena.
Thank you for being there when the pageants may not go our way and for not letting us give up on our dreams.
Thank you to the “extra” moms we undoubtedly will gain along the way.
It’s not easy being a rodeo queen mom, but thankfully God gave you all the tools to be amazing at it.
Each and every one of you deserve a medal and to be celebrated every day. But on Mother’s Day we will say thank you a little extra. Because before the hair, the outfits, the crown and the memories, there was you - holding our hands and always picking us up when we need it the most.
Thank you for being a Queen Mom.
And to my mom, thank you for constantly pouring in to me. For being my constant, and for always lifting me up so I can reach for the stars. I love your compassion for others and heart as big as the sky. You shine so bright in every room you enter. Happy Mother’s Day, I hope you had an amazing Nurses Appreciation Week, and I love you always!
