This past Saturday was our Food Box Packing Day, and we are so thankful for everyone who came out to help! Thanks to all of YOU, 425 food boxes were packed in less than 35 minutes!

These boxes will be distributed to area families right before Christmas, helping bring comfort and joy to those in need. Because of your generosity, this Christmas will be brighter for the children and families we serve.

We were thrilled to welcome so many new volunteers this year and hope to see you all again next year. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference, and Merry Christmas! 🎄

’Twas the night before packing, and all was prepared,
For a morning of service, goodwill in the air.
At Surry Central High School, bright and early we’ll be,
Packing food boxes with kindness for our community.

Soup and canned veggies, rice ready in line,
Popcorn and ramen, peanut butter each time.
Honey buns and oatmeal; simple items, but vital and dear,
Each box filled with hope, reminding families they’re not alone this year. ❤️

All are welcome and encouraged to meet us at Surry Central High School at 8:00AM on December 13, 2025, to help pack food boxes. We hope to see you there!

🎄 A Miracle on Rockford Street! 🎄

This year, our Walmart team came together to help support the Give a Kid a Christmas organization by gathering food for families in our community. It wasn’t easy — we faced delays, complications, and a few moments where we weren’t sure it would all come together… but it did. 💙

Today, every pallet was loaded, and we couldn’t help but call it the Miracle on Rockford Street. ✨

We are so grateful for our associates who worked tirelessly to make this happen and proud to support an organization that brings hope, joy, and full bellies to local kids during the holidays.

Thank you, Give a Kid a Christmas, for letting us be part of something so meaningful. ❤️
