Thank you to Ryan Coe and Ms. Tuttle from Cooperative Extension for kicking off camp this morning with information about agriculture in Surry County! We went to Southern States Mount Airy, Riverside Park for lunch, visited Dustin Rogers at Roger’s Tractor and toured the Ag facilities at Surry Central today!

Teambuilding, planning and a lunch break, of course! After lunch was fundraiser planning and public speaking practice. We’re off to a great start!

Our last 12 ferns are now for sale! We used them for graduation last night and we can now sell the rest! $20 each. First come, first sold. No holds! Come to the front office to purchase!

Sappy Senior post

When I came in as teacher and FFA Advisor to this program four years ago, we had a lot of work to do. These are the last two of my original kids (many have since graduated and are missed more than they know) I’ve watched these two grow, all the way from shy freshmen, into Seniors about to cross a stage. They are the kind of young adults that make you unbelievably proud. Their hard work, their dedication, and the way they’ve poured themselves into this program has meant more than they probably know. I’m so proud of who they are, who they will become and so excited for what’s ahead—AvaReese and Calvin (along with all of our other graduated babies) will always be a part of Surry Central FFA and will forever be one of “my kids” 💙💛

We are so PROUD of our dairy team! 2nd in the state in a senior division contest is a HUGE win!
