The Dixon VFW Auxiliary teamed up with the Punishers of Illinois for our Fun Run this year. Thank you for all your help, thank you Dixon Police for your assistance in seeing them off safe. All proceeds for “The River Run” will go to Hope Cancer Wellness Center. Stop out to get 50/50 tickets, we still have our booze wagon tickets for sale, the drawing will be June 14. We have Luchadores Mexican Grill and a local high school band TON will be playing at 5:00. Stop out at the Dixon VFW, we have a lot going on!!

Join us for our annual fun run. Saturday June 6th, proceeds go to the Hope Cancer Wellness Center. There will be music and Luchadores will be serving food in the kitchen.

Our HAM SHOOT is 4/12 starts at 9 am. VHV will be offering breakfast starting at 7 am. We have 50/50, raffle tickets available, wheel of meat prizes. Be sure to stop out! 🥩🥓🐷🎟️

Round one of delivering our gifts to the local nursing homes done! We delivered to Dixon Rehab and to Franklin Grove nursing homes today. We did things a little different this year and not only got the Veterans that are in homes a gift but all the residents got something. It was so nice to see all the smiles on their faces! 🎅🎄thank you to Amboy Dental Group and V.H.V - veterans helping veterans for also donating to our gift bags .

There are still a few cards left on our adopt a veteran 2025 Christmas tree. Feel free to stop out at the VFW in Dixon take a card for a gift for a veteran. It will be for the local nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
