Tonight , Webster County 4-H had an outstanding turnout at the County 4-H Communications Contest, with 34 youth conquering their fear of public speaking!

Each participant did an amazing job. This contest would not have been possible without our outstanding 4-H Council members, amazing volunteers from across the county, and support from Foreman Watson Holtrey Law Firm out of Madisonville, KY.(Davin Shaw and SaraH Cooper)

A huge thank you to Taylor David, Bailey Jones, Mary Steely, Katelyn Hensley, Vicki Shadrick, Ashley Whitledge, Melea Ramin, Amy Wright, Shae Heady, Annett Buckman, and Sarah Cooper for investing in our youth.

Champions will compete on May 14 at 6:00 p.m. in Hopkinsville at Murray State’s campus.

CLOVERBUD CAMP
Light Up the Night Neon Dance!
West Kentucky 4-H Cloverbud Camp - July 24-26, 2026. Other counties will be attending

The cost is $170 for cloverbud (5-8 years old) and $160 for adults (an adult must attend with their cloverbud).

Adults attending MUST fill out a background check before attending

The program will start around 2:00 p.m. on Friday and we will complete at lunch on Sunday.

Registration will close on May 15th

We had a magical Saturday morning as we dined with royalty at our Prince & Princess Brunch 🫅🏻👸🏼

Our 4-H Cooking Club Chefs worked hard to prepare a fabulous spread for our Princes and Princesses. We are so proud of them and their fearless leader, Mrs. Janet (AKA Fairy Godmother✨)

Fairy Godmother delivered some magical Manners and Etiquette advice to our royalty as well! 🍽️

We truly enjoyed our time with our sweet Princes and Princesses and hope they enjoyed their time with us as well!

Webster County 4-H has limited spots for 4-H camp. Camp Spots will be on a 1st come/1st serve basis during the open camper registration window April 23 (6:00 pm) - spots WILL GO FAST.

To confirm you are signed up, you will receive an email from Sign up Genius confirming your registration.

(It will not open until the date and time above)

To sign up, please click on the box next to male or female and list camper name in the comments section. You need to fill out a separate registration for each child attending !

YOU MAY ONLY SIGN UP FOR 1 under "Quantity"

If all spots are filled on the camper sign up, but there are spots open on the waiting list, you are welcome to take a wait list spot under the appropriate male or female list.

Those who obtain a spot on the camper list will receive an email from the Extension Office within the week regarding how to complete and submit paperwork and payment. You will have 2 weeks to turn in all required paperwork and the $90 Registration fee. If paperwork and Payment is not turned in by May 7th you will lose your spot.
