The last line of the FFA motto is “Living to Serve”. Today we had 8 members doing exactly that at the Food Insecurity Day at the Missouri State Fair. Missouri Farmers Care Food Drive is passionate about feeding our families.

We joined forces with 1,000 other FFA members from across the state to help pack 250,000 food bags. These will go to food pantries across the state to serve kids and families.

Missouri Pork Producers provided lunch and we heard speakers from different industries and their passion to serve. Governor Kehoe was there to speak also!

We did get to visit FFA alumni, Alexa Hall, to see her pigs and we toured the FFA building as well. Kids did a little time to enjoy the fair despite the rain!

Attention FFA members!!

We are starting Truck Pull Sponsorship Drive this week!

Come by the Ag building anytime from 9-3 Monday, Wednesday or Friday to pick up packet and sign up for what business you would like to talk to. If these time do not work for you, please email Mrs. Farnham to schedule a time.

If you got a business last year to sponsor, you have until August 24 to reach out to them again. After that it will be open to someone else.

Camp reflection from Tristan Blakley

I went to camp thinking that I wouldn’t get along with anyone but after a little bit I started getting along with people. I would definitly go back because it was really fun and it was a great learning experience. Also I feel it helped me become a better leader. All of the state officers were really nice and they were really funny. I really liked going to the lake every day but the walk to get down their sucked. The elective leadership meetings were really hands on so you weren’t sitting there bored for an hour and the officers made it really fun.

My favorite memory was the main street opry because they sang the Beatles and getting Andy’s after was fun.
