Last night members from our chapter enjoyed an evening at the annual Pulaski County - Missouri Farm Bureau dinner and meeting. Farm Bureau is one of our biggest supporters and we were proud to attend their event. Our chapter was presented with a $500 donation, which we are extremely grateful.

Tonight we had an amazing group of workers show up to help at Charlie Bassett to help prepare for the annual Pulaski County - Missouri Farm Bureau dinner tomorrow night. I enjoy seeing all the kids jump in and get to work getting everything cleaned and set up. We are rewarded with some of Charlie’s famous grilled Bassett burgers.

Parents - your student will be sending a waiver from Missouri FFA to the email we have on file. Please watch for this and sign at your earliest convenience. It is required for them to attend events beyond the Chapter level.

Another fun filled day for our Ag program. Took some juniors and seniors to Ozark Farm Fest in Springfield. We enjoyed seeing all the vendors, machines, implements, animals and spectators. I think we brought home some great ideas to try out in our classes.

After a little bit of a traffic delay in Waynesville, we rolled in just in time for people to start picking up mums. I appreciated all the kids and parents who made pickup pretty smooth!

Wurdack Field Day was a success for our students! We got to:

Flying drones
Feel inside a cannulated heifer’s stomach
Learn about hay quality
Talked about various insects we deal with in agriculture
Was educated in ticks and tick born illnesses
Saw a feral hog trap and learned how it operates
Also played in the spring
Found snake skins, turtle shells and buckeyes too!

We ended the day at Taco Bell AND McDonalds!

Last night these three officers were able to attend the Pulaski County - Missouri Farm Bureau FFA dinner. We enjoyed the amazing food, mingling with other chapters and listening to all the opportunities available to FFA members. We are grateful for all the support Farm Bureau offers our chapter!

Thank you Lydia, Jace and Ethan for your participation!
