I would like to invite you to a meeting of the Kanawha Valley Chapter of the Joseph A. Holmes Safety Meeting that will be help on Jan. 29, 2015 at the Charleston Marriott. Their will be a social hour beginning ay 5pm and the meeting will begin at 6pm. Finger Foods and soft drinks will be served. The meeting will be sponsored by Strata Worldwide and guest speaker will be Marshall University interim President Gary White. Mr. White will be speaking on the state of the coal industry and his new role with Marshall University. We will have representatives from Management, Labor, Vendor, Government and Regulatory in attendance. It would be an honor if you could drop by for a few minutes, I know you all have very busy schedules and your time is very valuable. As always we will have plenty of door prizes, 50/50 and will be raffling off a AR15. Please spread the word to all of your colleagues, the more the merrier. Our Speaker for the meeting on March 20th will be Tony Szwilski from the University of Marshall!! Mr. Szwilski is currently the Director for the Center for Environmental, Geotechnical and Applied Sciences and Professor of Engineering!! Mr. Szwilski is also the Director of the Marshall graduate mine safety program!! Looking forward to the next meeting!
