I have been away for quite a while on Live Alive Connections, and I apologize. I have been going through a lot, and have been evaluating some new ideas and plans with this and something else I created called Canidday.
I compose my own music. I have been working on my CD, which is now available on Amazon, if you would be interested. It is my own piano compositions. Being that I very much enjoy making my music, and would like to learn the art of Cinematography, I think it would be rather cool, to combine the two arts and create my own, educational mini or full length motion pictures, with help of course. I have been exploring the avenues of school, and what it will take to do this. I want to be a voice for animals and nature, while fulfilling and influencing others with my music. Why not do both.
So, in light of this, I want Live Alive Connections to be eventually tied into the direct name of my film productions, and Canidday to be more specific onto what the initial roles of it is, which is to educate about the Canid species all around the world.
So, in the meantime, I will post lots of things, pertaining to Live Alive Connections initial mission statement, to spread the word of good and bad things in order to create a better understanding of this ever changing world.

National Poll: Just 1 in 3 Americans Want to End Wolf Protections

Gray wolfA new nationwide poll commissioned by the Center for Biological Diversity finds that only a third of Americans support the Obama administration's proposal to strip Endangered Species Act protection from wolves in the lower 48 states. About 70 percent of voters said they believe wolves are a vital part of America's wilderness; 56 percent think wolves should be given a chance to return to unoccupied wolf habitat in places like Colorado, California and the Northeast.

The poll also revealed that a solid majority of people who voted for Obama (58 percent) oppose the plan to eliminate wolf protections and say wolf populations shouldn't yet be considered recovered.

"The Obama administration's plan to strip endangered species protections for wolves clearly doesn't have the support of most Americans," said Noah Greenwald, the Center's endangered species program director. "Wolves are wildly popular, and most Americans want to see more wolves in more places."

Sorry I haven't been posting much, I am still trying to organize Live Alive Connections and dealing with a lot. I will be posting much more here soon. ;) My idea is to have Live Alive Connections via facebook educate about things around the country, and have Live Alive Connections via emailed newsletter for information about things in Colorado.
