Mirshish Boyd, who hails from the Lone Star State, Texas, teaches all subjects in the Credit Recovery and Acceleration Program at W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas. With a BA in Journalism and an MA in Education Policy and Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin, she has eight years of experience supporting at-risk students, including helping them become informed, active global citizens.
