📸 Another historic moment for the 29th Masonic District and Dinwiddie Lodge #136 📸

On January 20th, we were honored to host the 180th Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, Most Worshipful Matthew Todd Zramoski and Right Worship Tommy Peters, District Deptuy Grand Master for the 29th Masonic District, who assisted in raising our newest Master Mason, Matthew Cunningham at Dinwiddie Lodge #136.

Thank you to all the brethren from across and outside the district who partipated in making this a memorable evening. It was truly a night to remember!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 150th Anniversary. Thank you, Grand Master Gary Huffman for the presentation and to the Dinwiddie County Board of Supervisors for the Proclamation. Thank you to all that came out and celebrated with us tonight. Special thanks to Alvin Langley for the wonderful meal!

I would like to thank all of the Brethren that came out to the Lodge last night.

It was quite an evening as we had Most Worshipful Jack Kayle Lewis Grand Master of Virginia Masons visit us. It did our Lodge a great honor to have him with us in our 150th year in Dinwiddie County. The last historic official visit from a Grand Master was 50 years ago on the 100th Anniversary of our lodge.

The Grand Master presented Bryson Poarch with his Life Member in Perpetuity certificate and membership card. Austin Woodward, our newest Master Mason, was also presented a challenge coin from the Grand Master. Quite an honor for these young men. A moment they can cherish for the rest of their Masonic careers.

I sincerely appreciated the kind, encouraging, and heartfelt words in the Grand Master’s message to our Lodge. They were filled with affection and brotherly love. Everything he said deeply resonated with us and reinvigorated us in our continued commitment to being a shining light in our community, country, and the world.

Our Lodge was honored and thankful for the Grand Master and his time with us.

I would like to thank everyone who came out to help with our rib and chicken fundraiser.
It has been so nice to have all the help prepping and cooking between last evening and this morning.
The men in the community that donated their cookers.
And all the brothers that sold and donated and made this day a success.
It makes me proud to have such a great group of brothers!

Join the friends of Prince George Masonic Lodge No. 115 for the 2024 Harold Jackson Bibey Sr. Memorial Golf Tournament presented by: Burnett & Williams
This event honors the memory of Brother Jack Bibey Sr. and his love of golf. All proceeds benefit four annual $1,000 awards through the Richard S. Zuskin Memorial Scholarship Fund as well as local book fairs and other education related services.
Teams of 4 are invited to play for 100 per player or $400 per team. Hole Sponsorships are available for $125 and other sponsorship opportunities are available for $1000 which include a free 4 person entry.
