The Spring Fun Bingo event on Friday was a resounding success, featuring 76 winners and a complimentary goodie bag for all attendees; we express our heartfelt thanks to our esteemed volunteers for their assistance.

What a great week at Book Fair! Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who made it possible!

We'd love to give some insight into how we make the Book Fair work for us:
💲Through the use of our earned Scholastic Dollars, PTA was able to allow our school librarian to shop the Book Fair and add $200 worth of books to our school library! We also were able to use almost $1,000 Scholastic Dollars to fulfill Teacher Wishlists for their classrooms!
🔍PTA also had a Scavenger Hunt during the Book Fair. We used this as an opportunity for kids to have some additional fun at the Book Fair while they weren't shopping. PTA used our remaining Scholastic Dollars to purchase books and posters that will be given to randomly selected students who participated in the Scavenger Hunt. There will be over 150 winners! Wow!!

We love the Book Fair for many reasons. We primarily want to foster a love of reading! By giving students the chance to shop independently it gives them the power of choice and an opportunity to learn about budgeting, tax, and really works their math skills!

🐉DDES PTA also provided each student a dragon egg with a small 3D printed dragon inside so that no student walked away empty-handed.
