Tuesday, May 5, will be our Tuesday meeting of the month. That daytime meeting you don’t have to drive in the dark to get there. . We will be at the Dimondale Presbyterian Church in Dimondale, Michigan from 11 AM to 2 PM. If you wanna learn how to carve, we are more than willing to teach you the beginnings.

This little baby bull is out of a 1 in.² stick. And the height of this little critter is about an inch and a half. Probably 90% of all my carvings are out of basically a 1 in.² stick.

We sure would love to have you come and join with us and learn about how you can carve without cutting yourself severely.

This month we are returning to our two times a month meetings.
Already had our first meeting for the month the first Tuesday from 11 AM to 2 PM. The folks who don’t like to drive at night during the late fall later and early spring.
This week we will have our second meeting of the month for the folks can drive at night, but we’re during the day.
We will be meeting Thursday evening from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Presbyterian Church in Dimondale.

The choir is using the room that we are typically in for a bit so we will be meeting in a slightly different location within the building. In this case, you will come in the main doors and if to your right, the Great room is lit up. We will be there. If it’s not lit up, then come up the stairs toward the sanctuary and as you get to the top of the stairs or use the elevator, there’s a little room opposite going into the sanctuary. We’ll be in there. Likely try to be in the big room so that we can be where you can see us when you come through the doors.

If you want to learn how to carve, we are there. First thing I teach you is how to carve correctly. Objective is to keep you from going to emergency as much as possible. The correct carving cuts will minimize that greatly. And we will teach you at your speed.

I’d love to have you come and see us and step into a hobby that most people didn’t realize they could do.

There will not be any meetings in the month of March. Tomorrow’s meeting everybody has a doctors appointment and we have no knowledge of somebody coming to visit and see us so the only person that could and would be there will stay home. That person comes from north of Grand Ledge. And nobody else is gonna be there.
In April, we will resume for normal meeting schedule of first Tuesday from 11 AM to 2 PM. And a third Thursday from 5 PM to 8 PM.

 See you then.

First Tuesday of the month from 11 AM to 2 PM at Presbyterian Church in Dimondale Michigan.
Hope to see you there.
