This past Saturday, the Dime Box Sportsman’s Club held its 25th Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet at the Diamond I Venue in Dime Box. We celebrated a successful hunting season by presenting awards for the largest scored big bucks and wild hogs.

A highlight of the evening was awarding scholarships to 11 local seniors to further their educations. Over the last 25 years, the DBSC has awarded a total of $188,850 in scholarships, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.

The 2025-2026 scholarship recipients are:

- Brandon Burgdorf – Giddings High School
- Tyler Krueger – Ronald Reagan High School
- Caleb Rackel – Caldwell High School
- Cade Tanksley – Liberty Hill High School
- Baylen Exner – Giddings High School
- Lee Siegmund – Lexington High School
- Zoe Zwerneman – Brenham High School
- Hunter Jacobs – Giddings High School
- Kolbie Parker – Burton High School
- Joseph Mikulin – Dime Box High School
- Emilia Bayer – Lexington High School

We are fast approaching our 25th Annual Dime Box Sportsman's Club Banquet!

⭐️⭐️⭐️🦌🐗🦌🐗🦌⭐️⭐️⭐️

Date: February 14, 2026 ❤️
Time: Doors open at 5:30pm
Location: Diamond I Venue, Dime Box
Price: Contest entrants get a free meal ticket and additional meal tickets are available at the door for $20 each

Raffle tickets are for sale through board members and will be for sale at the banquet!

With this being our 25th year, we will have special raffle prizes! We will also have on display our very first buck winners!

We look forward to awarding our scholarship recipients and celebrating another successful hunting season with our community!

Bring your Valentine's date for a good meal and good company!

PHOTO CONTEST---
Voting for this year's photo contest will again be online through our page.
CONTEST RULES:
1) Email your TRAIL CAMERA photo entry to [email protected] . Be sure to include your name in the email. There will be a maximum of 2 photos entered per contestant. If more than 2 photos are submitted, only the first 2 received will be entered.
2) Entries will be accepted starting January 15, 2026 and continue thru January 31, 2026.
3) Online voting will be held on the Dime Box Sportsman's Club page starting February 1, 2026 and run thru February 13, 2026.
4) Vote for your favorite photo by "Liking" the photo.
5) Most "Likes" will win. "Likes" must be on the original Facebook post by the DBSC page to be counted.
6) Winner will be announced on our page on February 14, 2026! ❤️
7) Winner will receive a free entry to next year's Big Buck and Wild Hog Contest.

Share this post so that everyone that is interested can submit a photo. The photo contest is open to the general public, no entry fee is required.
