Our CDE teams traveled to College Station early this morning to compete at our Area contest, and what a day!

Congratulations to our Entomology team for placing 13th at the area level, 3rd in district!
Our Poultry team placed 18th at the area level and 6th in district!
Our Livestock Judging team also had a great day, with several members setting personal best individual scores and placing 7th in district!

We are so proud of these members for stepping up and giving it their all. There is so much hard work that happens behind the scenes, it truly showed today!

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Giddings FFA for helping us shuffle kids around this morning when our morning didn’t quite roll as planned. We appreciate you more than you know!

Because of your generosity, our students are able to participate in leadership events, competitions, and meaningful agricultural learning experiences.

Shoutout to our Livestock Judging team! They traveled to Huntsville on Good Friday to compete at the Walker County Livestock Judging Contest as preparation for our upcoming Area 12 contest. In their very first competition, they placed 15th out of 21 teams, with Damaris ranking 29th out of 64 individuals!

We are so proud of our Entomology and Poultry Judging teams who competed today at the Heart O’ Texas Fair Invitational CDE Contest in Waco!

For many of these students, this was their very first contest and they showed up ready to learn and compete! The Entomology team placed 32nd out of 55 teams, and the Poultry team placed 59th out of 72 teams.

We are excited to see how much these students grow this season! 💙💛
