Last month we celebrated a special milestone as our 8th grade class graduated!

During the graduation service, we enjoyed looking back at photos from when these students first began their journey at CVCS and hearing about their plans for the future. It was a wonderful reminder of how much they have grown during their time with us.

We are incredibly proud of each student and excited to see what God has in store for them. As they enter this new season of life, we are praying for continued growth—not only in knowledge and maturity, but also in their faith and relationship with Christ.

Good news just keeps coming at CVCS!

From our youngest students to beloved alumni, today we celebrate God's work in the lives of members of our CVCS family who publicly professed their faith through baptism today.

Congratulations to Emily Myers, rising 3rd grader, Jules Grimberg, rising 9th grader (joined by Coach Wilson), and Lexi Tharpe (Class of 2015), who was joined by her fiancé, John Crews (Class of 2014), as they look forward to their October wedding.

There is no greater joy than seeing our students and alumni choosing to follow Christ and boldly proclaiming their faith.

Congratulations, Emily, Jules, and Lexi! We are rejoicing with you!

Another proud alumni moment for CVCS! 💙

We were honored to welcome back two outstanding CVCS alumni from the Class of 2022, Piper Scialdo, Valedictorian of Buckingham High School, and Esther Jiang, Valedictorian of Cumberland High School, as speakers at our 8th Grade Graduation ceremony in May.

We are reminded that the impact of Christian education extends far beyond the classroom. Watching our graduates pursue excellence, lead with character, and use their gifts to encourage the next generation is one of the greatest blessings of our ministry.

Congratulations, Piper and Esther! Your CVCS family is incredibly proud of the young women you have become. Once a Charger, always a Charger!

A huge thank you to our 8th grade graduates! They gifted us with this wonderful bench that we will enjoy for years to come. Our S'MORE Summer Camp kids are already benefiting from their generous gift!

Some stories are years in the making.

This past weekend, CVCS alumni Daniel Brickhill and Dr. Hallie Morris Brickhill (Class of 2014) were married, celebrating a journey that began right here at Central Virginia Christian School. Daniel and Hallie first met as sixth graders at CVCS, and fifteen years later, surrounded by family and friends, they said “I do.”

Their wedding came on the heels of remarkable academic achievements. Hallie recently graduated in the top ten of her class from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine, while Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude in the top ten percent of his class from Harvard Law School. Both completed their degrees in May and were married just a few weeks later on June 6.

The CVCS connection was beautifully woven throughout the celebration. Madison Stoltzfus Thomas (Class of 2013) served as a bridesmaid, Nathan Brickhill (Class of 2015) served as best man, and Jaclyn Slaughter (Class of 2016) coordinated the wedding with assistance from Brittany Slaughter (Class of 2013).

We are grateful to see the lasting impact of the relationships formed at CVCS and rejoice with Daniel and Hallie as they begin this new chapter together. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Brickhill! May the Lord richly bless your marriage for many years to come.

School is officially OUT!

Second Grade ended their year on a high note! With baby chicks hatching, animal projects, beach days, and Camp-Learn-A-Lot, these kids are finishing strong!

We loved finishing our week and school year celebrating the accomplishments of our students. Over 200 certificates were awarded and lots of smiles were had at our Field Day festivities!
