It’s Truly Winning Wednesday 🎉💥

FLIPP Inc has obtained its 2️⃣nd global accreditation with NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) for the Operations & Maintenance Associate Technician.

We are the🥇st & ONLY in-person training provider with this accreditation in the State of Virginia (perhaps multiple states according to the training provider directory 😉).

This certification dropped April 7th, 2026 and if you know me; then you know Duane Cunningham (Vicious Creations LLC) and I went into FULL COURT PRESS mode to Get’er done ✅ ‼️

Happy Winning Wednesday‼️

FACER Cohort #3 is in FULL swing.

This is day 3️⃣ of hands-on training today that was conducted which covered connecting hybrid inverters to a battery bank and the grid. We were able to demonstrate what happens when there is a power outage and how the inverter auto switched to battery backup when the grid is down and then verify using a digital multimeter that the AC output remained intact.

We also did gear issue - if you’re military then you know about CIF - and AJ McDonald, Emily Axelbaum & Tysha Scott w/ LOC Family Services ran the process like a well-oiled machine.

Earth Day 🌎 2026 Fell On Workforce Wednesday This Year 🤸🏾

We aren’t just celebrating the planet today; we’re actively building the workforce that’s going to save it.

This isn’t just about technical specs: it’s about:

1. Mastering the “house-as-a-system” approach.
2. Creating energy-efficient, healthy homes for our communities.
3. Breaking down barriers to high-paying clean energy careers.

We had ZERO attrition, 4 licensed contractor employees moving forward to conquer this work, 3 community trainees looking to get into the work and metrics are coming in already as we gather each participants NATIONAL credential.

We are now connecting those contractors to the Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) (ODEC) manufactured homes program and facilitating the workforce development for the community trainees to current weatherization contractor providers.

FLIPP Inc would like to again thank Microsoft’s Datacenter Community Affairs team (Kristin Vaughan) for funding the ODEC program and the workforce design.
