❌🚫❗️UPDATE❗️🚫❌ PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW ⬇️

Due to extreme cold and out of concern for the safety of our elderly volunteers, the Dillsboro Hometown Holiday Feast scheduled for December 14th has been 🚫CANCELED🚫 with the POSSIBILITY of being rescheduled at a later date.

‼️‼️BUT.... - We will still provide MEAL DELIVERIES for everyone who has already called or emailed to request them. We’ll also be offering take-out meals, which will be prepared at 1595 S. County Rd 625 E, Milan, IN.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but the safety of our volunteers is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding, and please stay tuned for a possible sit-down dinner in the future.

Munch-a-Lunch is over for the summer. Over 9 weeks, we served approximately 744 youth and 313 adults, for a grand total of 1057 people.

Thank you to following groups who helped serve meals this summer: CARE Team, Dillsboro Main Street, Dillsboro United Methodist Church, Friendship State Bank and Insurance, St. John’s Lutheran Church (Farmers Retreat), American Legion Auxillary Dillsboro Unit 292, and Bridge of Hope Church.

Thank you to Jim Hughes and his various contacts in helping with food donations, the Ross Foundation in providing a grant to make this possible and for food donations and discounts from the Dillsboro Family Market and Janet’s Diner. Thank you to the Aurora Public Library and the Dillsboro Fire Department for activities at the beginning and end of our program. Without all of these groups, Munch-a-Lunch would not be possible.
