The Dillon County Boys and Girls Youth Center is found on the vision and belief that every youth have the right to a safe place to learn and grow, to be empower and free from violence and the fear of violence. We seek to establish a better quality of life for our youth, and to provide the tools and a safe place for our youth to obtain educational success. Additional the center aims to educate and

conduct training on social problems such as dealing with peer pressure, bulling, and character development. We will conduct after school tutoring programs, Educational Workshops on substance abuse, teen age pregency, HIV/AIDS awareness. Our mission is to promote HEALTH, SOCIAL EDUCATION, CULTURAL CHARACTER, and AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. We aims to help young people to improve their lives by building self-esteem and developing values and skills during critical periods of growth. We believe that all young people regardless of race and /or creed, need to know someone cares. The Dillon County Boys and Girls Youth Center will operate as a center for all youth from 6 to 18 Yrs. We hopes to draw youth from all surrounding areas of Dillon County. Latta, Lakeview, Fork, Little Rock, Hamer, Minturn, Riverdale ect.) we hope to expand our services to Employment Counseling classes, including resume writing, application processing, interview techniques, and all aspects of obtaining employment.
