Another wonderful week at the Alpenglow Chamber Music Festival! Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of America, this year we featured music by American composers in each program: Paul Chihara (the Colorado Premiere of “Little Red Dragonfly Fantasy,” written for the Horszowski Trio); Pierre Jalbert; David Ludwig; Russell Platt; Louise Talma.

Jesse and Ole were happy that the Horszowski Team ⚾️ got a new member — Ara Gregorian!

A wonderful opening week of our 29th season with some great music! Daniel McGrew, a gorgeous tenor, mesmerized the audience, and our beautiful flutist, Jennifer Grim was welcomed back to Alpenglow with much enthusiasm as well. Ole Akahoshi from the Horszowski Trio wowed everyone with his Debussy sonata with Rieko!

a pair of tickets to the soiree of your choice and
a pair of tickets to a public concert of your choice.

Ticket sales cover only 32% of our expenses. We rely on donations from generous people like you to cover almost half of our budget.

Your gift allows us to:
Bring world-class chamber music to Summit County in August.
Keep ticket prices low for the public concerts.
Provide free student tickets to all public concerts.
Award scholarships annually to music students in Summit County.
Have our musicians share their talents with students during the Festival.

Successful Week 1 with great music, wonderful musicians, incredible supporters, delicious food and fun times!

It was great to welcome the fabulous Ukrainian violinist, Solomiya Ivakhiv and a charming harmonium for the first time to Alpenglow!

The amazing composer/violist Kenji is also a great cook, making us Bulgarian salads; and Ole is a skilled biker!
