Southwestern Montana Family YMCA We are for youth development, healthy living and social responsiblity To provide health and wellness opportunities for the whole family.

Some of the Southwestern YMCA goals are to teach and model character-building values to kids and teens. To provide a safe and welcoming gathering place for youth, teens and families from all segments of the community. To provide a welcoming destination for youth, teens and families. To create opportunities for older adults to stay active, build confidence and socialize. And to provide a sense of belonging for youth and teens, especially low-income families.

Camp isn’t just childcare. At camp kids learn valuable skills that they will take with them throughout life. Learning these skills in a group environment helps build cooperative relationships. In the gardening skills group, kids are learning stewardship, responsibility, and developing an understanding of the freedom that comes with growing your own food. Thank you to Marti with the Beaverhead Conservation District for her excitement and willingness to make this happen!
