Big big thank you to all the volunteers who came down to the park today to help spread the new wood chips!

After the work was done, some volunteers enjoyed the new corn-hole game too!

We have some BIG news to share on the Light Up Main Street project!

A generous donation has been made to cover HALF of the remaining $30,000 needed to bring permanent LED lighting to Commercial Street! That means they are now just $15,000 away from reaching our $75,000 goal.

The Diller Community Club is asking our community to help us make this final push. Every donation gets us one step closer to seeing Main Street lit up for holidays, special events, celebrations, and community gatherings year-round.

And even more exciting, installation is set to begin October 19th! 🎉

The down payment has been made, the lights have been ordered, and now we just need to finish raising the funds to make this project a reality.

$60,000 raised.
$75,000 goal.
$15,000 to go.

Did you hear the big announcement last week? The Jefferson County Gives is accepting applications for participating organizations now through December 31st, 2026!

Last year the county came together and raised over $92,000 for 40 different organizations within our backyards! Lets help to make 2027 even bigger.

Please note, even if your organization participated in 2026, you will need to submit an application for the 2027 event!

If you haven’t taken the DCFF Community Survey yet, please take a few minutes to do so. We currently have 40 responses, and we’d really like to reach 50 by the end of the month!

At our last meeting, we spent some time reviewing the responses we’ve received so far, and there is already so much valuable information, feedback, and great ideas coming from the community. We’re excited to be in a position to take this information and start looking at what we can do with it to help make a difference in Diller.

Every response helps, so if you haven’t completed the survey yet, we’d appreciate you taking a few minutes to share your thoughts.

As an added incentive, anyone who provides their contact information at the end of the survey will be entered into a drawing for a gift card to a local Diller business, with the winner drawn at the end of the month.

The Diller Community Foundation Fund is committed to supporting projects, events, and organizations that strengthen our community. We’d love your feedback to help guide future priorities, funding opportunities, and community initiatives. Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your thoughts! I...

A BIG shoutout to our Sprinkler Squad!

Have you noticed how beautiful the flowers in the park have looked this season? We have some amazing young community members to thank for that!

Our Sprinkler Squad is made up of local kids who take turns watering the flowers and helping keep our park blooming. We love seeing them take pride in their community and learning that even small acts of service can make a big difference.

And we can’t forget the parents who make it all happen! Thank you for making time, bringing the kids out, encouraging them, and helping them be part of something that benefits our entire community. It truly takes a village!

📸 Parents, we want to see our Sprinkler Squad in action! Drop a picture in the comments of your kiddos during their watering turn so we can give them a little extra recognition for all their hard work! 🌻💦

August is Make-A-Will Month! This is a great reminder that everyone should have a will, no matter their age or the size of their estate.

A will helps ensure your wishes are known, the people and causes you care about are remembered, and the legacy you’ve worked hard to build is passed on intentionally. It can also provide peace of mind for you and your loved ones by making your wishes clear and helping avoid unnecessary uncertainty during a difficult time.

And when you create or update your will, consider making your legacy local by including the Diller Community Foundation Fund in your estate plans. A gift through your will or estate can help strengthen our community for generations to come supporting the people, programs, and future of the place we call home.

Everyone has a legacy to leave. Make yours local. ❤️

Talk with your loved ones and your estate-planning professional about creating or updating your will and making a lasting difference through the Diller Community Foundation Fund. If you have any questions, please reach out to a Fund Advisory Committee Member and we will be happy to help you!
