Motto: “There for each other with open doors” We are a group of individuals just trying to make it through this journey called life, striving to be our best possible selves. And we have found that when we are there for each other, we not only help others, but we help ourselves. In short, we want to be present with each other as we walk through life. So, how exactly do we go about our goal? Drawing
inspiration from the Judeo-Christian account of Jesus, who demonstrated unconditional love through the provision of a continual and unconditional presence, we intentionally check in with each other on a regular basis. Through this regular communication, we identify social and emotional needs within the community, working to collectively meet these needs to the best of our ability. In doing so, our goal is to promote connection (and thus combat social isolation) among members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community through the sharing of unconditional presence. No other agenda. We recognize that nobody will agree on everything. I mean, who does? But if agreement can be reached that the world is a better place when we are unconditionally present, we are off to a good start in opening our doors to one another.
