HEY FOLLOWERS! Let’s show up for this U.S. Navy Veteran! You don’t have to be a Veteran to show up.

Join us in paying respect to Samuel Rye, a U.S. Navy Veteran, who will be laid to rest with full military honors. He was an unclaimed Veteran with no known family, and we invite the public to attend his service and show gratitude for his service to our country.

Location: Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads, 693 Wildersville Road, Wildersville, TN 38388

Service Date and Time: Wednesday, September 2, 2026, 9:30 AM (CST)

The Middle Tennessee Veterans Coalition is gearing up for our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament, and we need your help!

❤️ THIS YEAR'S TOURNAMENT IS ABOUT MORE THAN GOLF.

The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 28 Holiday Food Box Program serves veterans and their families in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties.

100% of the proceeds from this tournament will go toward supporting those holiday food boxes.

This is an opportunity for us to work across county lines and bring together our businesses, communities, veteran organizations, and resources to support veterans throughout all three counties.

Earlier this year, the Middle Tennessee Veterans Coalition had the honor of hosting the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall in our community. We raised the funds needed to bring the Wall here through community events like last year's golf tournament, along with the generous support of businesses, organizations, and individuals.

We saw firsthand what can happen when we come together for our veterans.

Now, let's do it again.

Save the date! This year's DAV 5K, presented by USAA, will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Join more than a thousand veterans and supporters along the banks of the Ohio River as we walk, roll, run, or ride 5K for America's heroes.

Come see us THIS SATURDAY (August 8th) @ Walmart in Dickson from 7-4. We will be there as long as weather allows. We have hats for every branch and some specialized hats. We have flags, hat pins and rubber ducks. The hats are $15. Everything else is free. Donations are always appreciated! All proceeds go to assisting veterans and their families that live in Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys counties.
