🌠 Tonight could be one of the best nights in years to catch the Perseid meteor shower!

The big reason: the Perseids are peaking under a dark New Moon sky, meaning there’s almost no moonlight to wash out the fainter meteors. That gives you a much better chance of seeing more shooting stars, including the bright fireballs and long trails the Perseids are famous for. ☄️

For the best view, get away from city lights, head outside after 11 PM, give your eyes time to adjust, and look northeast.

No telescope needed — just a dark sky, a comfortable spot, and a little patience. 🌌

Who’s staying up to watch tonight? 👀

As drivers, it’s important to know that children’s eyesight is still developing, and that they are more likely to act impulsively. If you see a child walking near the road or in a parking lot, don’t assume they can see you right away. Pay attention to your surroundings and always be ready to brake for someone’s safety!

Breastfeeding Awareness Month highlights the many health benefits of breastfeeding for both babies and parents. Breast milk provides essential nutrients and antibodies that help support a baby's growth and immune system, while breastfeeding can also promote bonding and offer health benefits for the breastfeeding parent. Every family's journey is unique, and access to evidence-based information, skilled lactation support, and a supportive community can make a meaningful difference.

This month, let's raise awareness, share trusted resources, and help create environments where families can make informed feeding decisions with confidence.

Every mother’s feeding journey is different, and every one deserves love, respect, and support. ❤️

Whether you’re nursing, pumping, bottle-feeding breast milk, combo feeding, using donor milk, or grieving the journey you hoped for, your love is what nourishes your baby most.

This National Breastfeeding Month, let’s celebrate every act of love and remind every mom that she is seen, valued, and never alone. 🤱💕
