A great evening planting native shrubs along the Lackawanna River and the Lackawanna Heritage Trail near Independance Ave in Scranton. Thank you for all who attended.

Next planting is scheduled for Sunday June 7th, meet at the Elm St trail access.

LVTU has partnered with the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority to add trees to the banks of the Lackawanna River!

Please join us during a series of tree plantings around the valley this June!

Wednesday June 3rd (3:00pm-6:30pm) – Meet at the LHVA office in Scranton to plant along the Trail section near Lackawanna Ave
Sunday June 7th (11am-3pm) – Meet at the Elm St Access in Southside of Scranton to plant at Six Nations Amphitheatre Trail Section

Tools will be provided. Bring your own work gloves.
