Welcome hunters to our paradise!

There’s nothing quite like pheasant hunting right here in southwest North Dakota! Beautiful prairie landscapes, flushing roosters, and memories made in the field with good friends, family, and a faithful bird dog. 🐕🍂

Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or making memories on your first hunt, southwest North Dakota has a whole lot to offer. Stop by the Dickinson Convention & Visitors Bureau to receive a hunting packet. We are open Mon - Fri from 8 AM - 5 PM.

The Dickinson Convention & Visitors Bureau is closed today to plan for 2027 at the ND Tourism Marketing Summit. We are fortunate to be close to home at the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. We will re-open on Friday at 8 AM.

Today is National Fossil Day! We are very fortunate to have our very own dinosaur museum in Dickinson. When was the last time you visited the Dickinson Museum Center? Make plans now to visit sometime soon! They are open Mon - Sat from 9 AM - 5 PM MST.

Big changes are coming to the Dickinson Museum Center! Our neighbor is expanding, and we love seeing the construction progress being made. All the dinosaur fans will be in for a complete surprise once this expansion is complete. We can't wait!

It's a bittersweet day at the Dickinson Convention & Visitors Bureau as we say goodbye to Maci Wehri. Maci started in January 2025 as our Sales & Visitor Services Coordinator. She is saying goodbye to tourism and hello to an exciting opportunity with the City of Dickinson, ND Local Government. Congratulations and best wishes!
