CERT Family, here is some information on watches and warnings for the next few days. Please stay weather aware. Remember to talk to neighbors who are new to storms and may not know how to be prepared. Quickly look at the drains on your street. I noticed a few limbs around my house so I got rid of them to keep them from causing a problem later. We pray for the best, but we are prepared! We will keep updating you using social media and using The Zello app. Thank everyone and please be safe.

HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS & SAFETY FAIR ☔

The Hurricane Preparedness & Safety fair is just a couple weeks away! Join us on Saturday, June 20th at the League City Civic Center for hurricane simulations, door prizes, and much more. The City of Dickinson is proud to be a sponsor of this great event, preparing our community to stay safe this hurricane season!

Calling all CERT volunteers: Create up to $120 each for GC CERT Association by sharing your thoughts on brands. Each simple HundredX survey equals dollars for good. Start today! We can make up to 5,000 dollars to help cover the costs of an all CERT drill. Here is the link to sign up and start, the QR code is in the handout I've attached. Remember - the first people to get to 25 are in a drawing for our favorite storm supplies!

On June 15th, we will start a fundraiser with Hundrex. Come to our CERT meeting on Wednesday and you can more about how you can help us cover the increasing costs of running our amazing organization and see our training schedule for the rest of 2026. If you can't attend this meeting, we will be placing information on social media and sending it via email.
