Dickinson Rotary

Dickinson Rotary Worldwide organization of business, professional and civic leaders. We have opportunities to volunteer, working together to build goodwill and friendships.

Our club meets each Wednesday at noon at the Dickinson State University Student Center (exception for holidays and occasional Rotary on the Road functions). It is a members funded club under Rotary International with the motto "Service Above Self" as we focus on service and monetary donations to our community and globally. Our Avenues of Service express our commitment to service, fellowship, diver

sity, integrity and leadership. Donations to our 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation are accepted. We meet in person and a virtual option is available as well. Please check our page for the most up-to-date meeting information (https://www.facebook.com/dickinsonrotary)

Community Kindness began in August 2019 when Rotarians Deb Dragseth and Dawn Pruitt brought the idea to the Rotary Board of Directors. Our speakers last week were Rotarians Natashia Cushman, left, and Dawn Pruitt, who now coordinate the initiative. The first project, in September 2019, was collecting school supplies for area students. The initiative has continued to grow and In the past 12 months has donated $8,052 cash and several in-kind donations to twelve different entities in Dickinson, meeting needs in our local community. It truly fills a core mission of Rotary “Service Above Self."
Natashia and Dawn are looking for the coming year. Email [email protected] or complete the survey and email or return it at an upcoming meeting.
