What an amazing day at our United Way Dickinson Community Baby Shower yesterday! We want to give a heartfelt thank you to KBRS Law Firm, Dakota Diner, Psych-180, LT Taylor, Jennifer Killian, Marathon Petroleum, Mystical Massage and Healing, Jimmy’s Burn N Turn BBQ, Players Sports Bar and Grill, and our generous anonymous donors for making this special event possible. Because of your generosity, mothers in our community who otherwise may not have had the opportunity to experience a baby shower were able to enjoy a special day while receiving much-needed essentials for themselves and their babies, helping ease some of the financial stress that comes with early motherhood. Most importantly, this event was a reminder to these mothers that they are not forgotten and that they have a community behind them that truly cares. We couldn’t have made this day possible without each and every one of you. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of local mothers and their little ones!

🍼💙 The United Way Fall Community Baby Shower is BACK! 💙🍼

We are so excited to announce that our Fall Community Baby Shower will be held September 27th! 🎉👶

At the United Way, we try to host two Community Baby Showers each year so we can reach expecting and postpartum mamas who may not have qualified for or been able to participate in our previous shower.

💕 It truly takes a village!

We are incredibly proud of our community and so thankful for the donors, businesses, organizations, and individuals who continue to show up for local moms and babies. Your generosity helps us remind new mothers that they have a community standing behind them. ❤️

🧸 We are currently accepting donations of gently used baby items and new baby essentials!
Diapers, wipes, clothing, blankets, bottles, baby gear, postpartum supplies, and other useful baby items are greatly appreciated.

But this shower is about more than baby supplies! 🌸

As parents ourselves, we understand that pregnancy, bringing home a new baby, and the postpartum period can be exciting, overwhelming, stressful, and sometimes a little scary. That’s why we also want to connect our baby shower mamas with resources, services, support, and information that can make this transition a little easier.

📣 Community providers—we would love to hear from you!
If you offer resources that could benefit expecting or postpartum mothers, please reach out! We would especially love information about:

✨ Daycare and childcare options
✨ Postpartum support
✨ Parenting resources
✨ Breastfeeding and feeding support

Every baby deserves to be celebrated, and every mom deserves to feel supported!

Join us on Saturday, September 27 at the Veterans Pavilion in Dickinson for our Bi-Annual Community Baby Shower. This special event is for expecting mothers and families with newborns who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience a baby shower due to financial hardship or other challenging circumstances.

Thank you, Governor Kelly Armstrong, for making a decision that has the potential to save lives and protect families across our state. While we know this change will be welcomed by many, We also recognize that it may be incredibly difficult for others.
