Elder Care - Dickinson, ND Elder Care's Mission is to provide nutritional support services to the elderly of our community. Below is a list of our current meal sites.

Elder Care provides meal options for Seniors in South Western North Dakota. We are a donation-based service here to help seniors remain independent in their homes for as long as possible. Meal Sites are divided into three categories:

Congregate Meals: Locations where seniors can gather to enjoy a nutritional meal while visiting with others. Home-Delivered Meals: Healthy meals are delivered right

to your door. Take-out meals are also an option depending on location. Cafe 60: These meals can be congregate or home-delivered, depending on how the meals are delivered to the customer. These meals are prepared by local restaurants & cafes. All Elder Care meals adhere to the nutritional regulations of the Older Americans Act Title III of 1965. Below is a list of the meal sites based on the meal type:

Dunn Center City Hall – Dunn Center (Catered from the Killdeer Housing Unit)
Hettinger Senior Center – Hettinger
Killdeer Housing Unit – Killdeer
Mott Cannonball Senior Center – Mott (Catered from New Liepzig)
New England Senior Center – New England
Reeder Senior Center – Reeder (Catered from Hettinger)
Regent Senior Center – Regent (Catered from New Liepzig)
Richardton Senior Center – Richardton
Scranton Gold Miners – Scranton (Catered from Hettinger)

Home-Delivered Only:

Mott Good Samaritan – Mott

Now Hiring Full-Time Office Assistant

Come join our team!

Full-time office assistant at Elder Care performs routine clerical and administrative functions such as assisting management, data entry, greeting customers, answering phone calls, creating deposits, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files and other duties as assigned.
Hours for the position are Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
Full-time employment at Elder Care/Dickinson Public Transit includes:

Requirements:
*Be proficient with computer skills in Microsoft office.
*Perform accurate work.
*Be able to multi-task.
*Type at least 30 wpm.
*Have the ability to learn quickly.
*Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Be able to meet deadlines
*Be organized in work processes to stay on task
*Ability to perform clerical functions accurately, neatly and timely.
Preferences:
*Have at least 18 months of experience as an Office Assistant or equivalent office field.
