Diboll Civic Club

Diboll Civic Club This group exists to advance projects that are in the best interests of Diboll, TX. We meet the first Tuesday evening of each month at MJ'S Coffee Shop.

Diboll Civic Club seeks to facilitate communication and cooperation between organizations and individuals who care about Diboll. Meetings begin at 5:30 pm and typically last less than one hour. Anyone who cares about Diboll is encouraged to attend, and there are no dues or costs to participate. The Diboll Civic Club sponsors Operation Clean Sweep, Back to School Bash, Pink Out, Christmas Blessin

gs, Christmas Ladies Luncheon, Christmas Lighted Displays in Old Orchard Park and Battle of the Bulbs. Bring your ideas and passion for Diboll, and join us in building our community.

Reminder: Civic Club meeting, Tuesday, August 4 5:30 MJs'Coffee. We will be discussing upcoming Civic Club events: Pink Out, Christmas Blessings, Ladies Christmas Luncheon/Bingo and Christmas in the Park. Thank you to Civic Club volunteers, Scarlett Cavazos, Sonia Skowronek, Debra Buster, Joe Meyers and Mary Hendry for helping with Back to School Bash.

DISD needs volunteers to help with Back to School Bash at Diboll High School. Sorting will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, at 1:00 and Distribution will begin at 3:15 on Thursday. Our Civic Club donated $800.00 to this project. Please volunteer if you can.

Plans are coming along for our April 18 Operation Clean Sweep. As soon as all 17 applications are reviewed and job sites evaluated, those selected will be notified. Our funds and available volunteers determine which jobs can be competed. Contact Robin at [email protected] or 936.240-7078 if you want to volunteer as an individual or have a team. Also, she can answer any questions that you may have. Looking forward to another successful Operation Clean Sweep!!!!

BINGO!!! Hope that you are planning on attending our DHS Alumni Association Scholarship Cash Bingo & Silent Auction on March 7th. Doors open at 5:00. It will be a fun evening.... will cost you only $6 to play all 12 games with one card!!!! Cash Bingo prizes total $1800!!! We will be bringing back the fun Ring Pop and Lottery Games!!! Silent Auction is always popular. Plan to eat supper...concessions, including Pulled Pork Sandwich Plates and Pulled Pork Nachos will be available..thanks to Project Graduation 2026.

2026 Operation Clean Sweep is April 18.

Individuals and teams of workers are needed. To volunteer, contact Robin Lowe at [email protected] or 936.240.7078.

This is a project to help the elderly or disabled homeowners in Diboll with outside home repairs or yardwork. Applications are available at City Hall, Diboll Housing Authority or TLL Temple Memorial Library.
