Greetings from the Dibble Senior Center. Dibble will be celebrating our country’s 250th year of freedom on July 11th and we will be celebrating with them at the center. We will have chop beef sandwiches, chips and dessert. Bring your lawn chairs and watch the fireworks in the front yard. It will all start around 7:30 pm.
On June 19th the Dibble Senior Citizens Association held their official Officers and Board Members Election as required by the state. Election results are as follows; President – Dale McAskill, Vice-President – Clayton Lee, Secretary/Treasurer – Debra Taylor, Board Member – Penny Graham, Board Member – Tammy Welch.
We would like to Acknowledge Resigning Board Member Mary Ratliff. Mary was a blessing; she served on the Board through our tremendous growth from what started from humble beginnings with our founder Eddie Cantrell’s vision to a large non-profit association feeding many families every week. We appreciate all your service over the years Mary and will miss your wisdom and input.
The menu for the week of 7/6/26 is Monday –Indian Tacos, Wednesday – Beans & Taters, Friday –Steak Fingers.
Our food pantry is open Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:30am, and Fridays 9:00am to 11:00am. Lunch is served on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday at 12 noon. Come see us at 12314 ST. HWY 39 Blanchard, OK 73010, 405 344-6789.

Greetings from the Dibble Senior Center. The Dibble Senior Citizens Association will be holding its Board election on June 19, 2026, after lunch. Anyone wishing to run for an office must sign up before Friday June 12th 10:00 am.

Joe Charley Nickels was born on March 10, 1961, to Charley Leroy and Wanda Perle Henderson Nickels. He lived most of his life in Dibble, OK, where he died on March 17, 2026. He graduated from Dibble High School in 1979 and served one term of enlistment in the US

With a heavy heart we let you know that a longtime member of the center has passed. Arthur Evett and his wife Mary were a very important part in the early days of the center. They both held positions on the board and volunteered for many years. It saddens us to say til we meet again to Authur my you you rest in peace. Please be in prayer for Mary and their family.

Arthur Frankford Evett, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2026. He was born on June 13, 1937, in Mesa, Arizona to Lawrence Evett and Willie Evett Smith. Arthur grew up in Midwest City and graduated in 1955. In 1956, he proudly enlisted in the United States
