Joe Charley Nickels was born on March 10, 1961, to Charley Leroy and Wanda Perle Henderson Nickels. He lived most of his life in Dibble, OK, where he died on March 17, 2026. He graduated from Dibble High School in 1979 and served one term of enlistment in the US

With a heavy heart we let you know that a longtime member of the center has passed. Arthur Evett and his wife Mary were a very important part in the early days of the center. They both held positions on the board and volunteered for many years. It saddens us to say til we meet again to Authur my you you rest in peace. Please be in prayer for Mary and their family.

Arthur Frankford Evett, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on February 24, 2026. He was born on June 13, 1937, in Mesa, Arizona to Lawrence Evett and Willie Evett Smith. Arthur grew up in Midwest City and graduated in 1955. In 1956, he proudly enlisted in the United States

Due to the ice packed parking lot and freezing temperatures in the morning the FOOD PANTRY will be closed tomorrow 1/30/26. Diner will be open and lunch will be served.

Pantry and Diner will be open tomorrow 1-28-26. Parking lot is covered in snow with an ice base. Enter at your own risk. Please come in slow and easy. Not responsible for accidents!

We had a couple of special guests today at the center. Santa showed up and took some pictures and checked his list to see who was naughty and nice.
Then to our surprise the children from Dibble’s Delta Head Start came and made a stop to see Santa and then they sang beautiful Christmas songs to our seniors who came for lunch today. All in all it was a wonderful day. Thank you Santa and children for being such a blessing to the Senior Citizens Family.

Today we had our Annual Volunteer’s Christmas Party. We take this time of the year to thank and appreciate our volunteers who sacrifice their time and energy all year round. We would like to thank Penny & Randy Graham for their hospitality and opening their home to us again this year. Everyone brought snacks and the food was enjoyed by all. We had so much fun and laughs as we played the left/right Christmas story game. Volunteers then received gifts of appreciation, which was a small token for all they do each week. Thank you to everyone who helped make this great time possible.

Greetings from the Dibble Senior Center-
Just Reminders - We will be CLOSED all next week. Both the diner and the pantry. We would like to give our volunteers some much-needed time off with their families. We will resume regular hours on 12-29-25. And due to the holiday season, Movie night will be cancelled this month. We will see you next month.

We would like to thank RAM Concrete for a great job making our delivery area larger. We now are not limited to how much space we have when our Regional Food bank order comes. It has been an issue in the past but now we have a huge concrete area which will make deliveries much easier.

The menu for the week of 12/22/25 is Monday – Closed, Wednesday – closed, Friday – closed.

Lunch is served on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday at 12 noon. Come see us at 12314 ST. HWY 39 Blanchard, OK 73010, 405 344-6789. We will have a seat for you.
