Diamond Bar AYSO - we have some important dates coming up. Please be sure to pencil us in where needed.

8/5 - ALL VOLUNTEERS must be fingerprinted - please come out to get your finger printing done.
8/5 - All coaches must attend the coach meeting - this is for coaches only
8/10 - Training can start if the coach has been given the go ahead by the division commissioner
8/15 & 8/16 - Any coaches or referees that require training, please be sure to sign up for Super Camp!
8/22 - All team parents, this one is for you - please come to the team parent meeting to learn about banners, snack schedules and all your team parent needs
9/3 - Regional Referee companion class
9/11 - Friday Night Skills - more info to follow
9/12 - Season Kicks off
9/19 - Picture Day
9/19 - Intermediate Referee class - this is recommended for all regional referees that have at least one year experience.

DB AYSO - We heard your concerns about the uniform issues at the last uniform sizing event. We are not entirely sure what happened or why those sizes were so off; however, we worked with our uniform vendor to get a new batch of uniforms that DO fit true to size. These uniforms are the ones we will be receiving for the fall season.

If you are 10U - 19U we will be having another uniform sizing event on Monday, August 10th. Please see the post for details as we are staggering the times based on divisions. We want to encourage everyone to come out on Monday, even if you already came to the last event.

If you are unable to come to the event, please note that the uniforms we receive will be true to size, so you should order your child’s usual size. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

For schoolyard - 8U, if there are any uniform issues related to sizing, the region will ensure those issues are rectified so that your child gets a uniform that fits them accordingly.

IMPORTANT DATES to look forward to.

August 15 & 16 - Super Camp in Ontario. SIGN UP NOW!
This camp is for all coaches and referees who need to get their certification or upgrade their certification. Please be sure to sign up via AYSOU.

August 22 - Mandatory Coach Meeting
If you signed up to Coach or are assigned a team, you must attend the Coach meeting for important information about the upcoming season. Details on time and location will be sent out at a later date.

Rosters will be passed out as soon as they are available, but no later than August 22.

August 26 - Coaches should reach out to all players by this date, if not much sooner. If you do not hear anything from your child’s coach by that date, please feel free to reach out via email or DM.

SEPTEMBER 12 - SEASON KICKS OFF! The schedule will be available at least 1-2 weeks before.

September 19 - PICTURE DAY. Information will be available as we get closer to this date.

We still have spots available for this upcoming 2026 Fall season.
Specifically, our 14U and 16U boys divisions have some players on the waitlist. In order to activate those players, we need 7 players for U14 boys and 5 players for U16 boys. This would allow us to build another team and ensure every registered player is able to play this fall. If you know anyone in those age groups, please let them know that we’re still accepting registrations.

TONIGHT!!
We are having a live, in-person registration event.

This past weekend we had teams competing at the Mission Viejo Classic. Of the 7 teams that competed, 5 of them medaled - three of them came home with 1st Place 🥇 CHAMPIONSHIP medals.

Congratulations to our Champions
U10G - Coach Eric & Dominic
U14G - Coach Sunny
U16B - Coach Tony

Our U12G - Coach Odie finished off their spring season with a hard found 2nd place 🥈 finish. This team has performed well all season, medaling in 7 of 7 tournaments. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a successful season.

Our U14B - Coach Claudio finished off their spring season with a dramatic PK shootout to secure 3rd 🥉 place. The boys and the coaches have worked hard all season. They have made so much progress through hard work and dedication.

Our U10B - Coach Odie did not medal, but they finished off their spring season working hard and having fun.

U12B - Coach Edgar & Bobby - not pictured, did not medal, but works extremely hard on the pitch against some strong teams.

Thank you AYSO Region 84 - Mission Viejo for having us.
And thank you to our players, coaches and parents for representing Diamond Bar well.

BOARD POSITIONS AVAILABLE 📋
Are you new to AYSO? Do you have little ones in schoolyard, U6, or U8? Are you good at taking notes? Do you have experience with web design?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, we could use your help.

Division Coordinators - Responsible for managing communications within their respective division. Ensure each team has a coach, an assistant coach, and referees (as applicable). Distribute uniforms. Serve as liaison between regional commissioner, coaches, referees, and parents regarding any questions, problems, or general information throughout the season.

Secretary - Must be available for each board meeting. Create an agenda for each board meeting. Keep minutes during each board meeting. Submit for review and approval before the next meeting.

Website Design - Ensure our website is updated throughout the year with information on our fall core season, spring all-star season, spring rec, volunteer information, field maps, etc. Someone with some web design experience is preferred, but not required.
