Sat Feb 20th was the perfect day to walk the beautiful grounds at the LA CO Arboretum. Despite being February the flowers were blooming everywhere, and of course, the peacocks couldn't help themselves from showing off their long beautiful tails. We also walked through the barn and Queen Anne's Cottage. The drought has affected the lake. It doesn't have as much water as normal but more than I saw in Sept for a painting class thanks to some rain since then.

Last week our FFA pups became "street legal" and can now be taken to one class per day as per School and GDB guidelines. If they did well, ( of course they did) then this week they can go to 2 classes. In the 2 photos below see the how the pups have physically grown over the past 8 weeks. First photo shows pups on the day the raisers received them: back row L to R: Stephen with Zee, Viviana w Frito, Abby w Zedrick . Front row: Sarah w Waldorf, and Emily w Baloo. In the second photo taken Feb 2nd, they are in the same order, only the pups are bigger and heavier.

Our Saturday Jan 23rd meeting was a field trip to Montclair Plaza where our pups climbed up open stairs in the parking structure, walked beside the glass balcony, visited stores, and practiced T touch. The highlight was a short ride on the SOLO EXPRESS train around the mall.
