Good morning all!
Blessed we are to live in a better world than most! Jesus said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20.
I am very excited to share plans for our next International Medical Mission to Jamaica! We will depart January 16-23, 2027. Please pray and see if God is calling you to join in on the mission.
It takes lots of planning to organize these trips. I want to reassure you that if God has called you to go on an international trip, he will provide the financial support to do so! We will have some upcoming fundraisers. We are working on the Food Trailer for the Stoddard County Fair. You are also welcome to fundraise on your own. I highly encourage people to ask for personal or corporate sponsors. I have attached the sponsor request letters which will help with this. All donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Even if you aren’t going on an international trip it takes a lot of funds to do the domestic missions as well. Please consider talking to sponsors, your churches, or individuals who would consider donating to our mission work.
We are also currently working on the 2027 Calendar. This fundraiser helps provide much needed supplies for our missions such as medicines, glasses, bibles, etc. Please consider gathering donations for these important items for our team.
The anticipated cost of this trip is $2500 - $3000. Each individual will need to collect donations for their flight cost, personal luggage, stay in Jamaica, and possible Hotel night in Memphis. The deadline for this trip to get the most reasonably priced airline ticket will be September 30. A $1000 deposit will need to be paid before we book your airline ticket. Tickets average $1000 -$1250 but the sooner we book flights the better. The first Flights will be booked in October for those who have signed up early. Those tickets will be the cheapest. I will send out more information to the people who sign up as the dates draw closer. Time is short for Jamaica so please let me know ASAP.
