That’s a wrap for the 6th Kids and Sibs Summer Camp! It was a HUGE success thanks to alllll the volunteers working so hard to ensure all the kids and sibs had an amazing experience! Picture to come!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

We are so excited as tomorrow is the big day!!! Please don’t forget to pack lunches (no peanuts) and bring some footwear that would be helpful for the wet grass they have at the camp!

We are looking for caring, energetic volunteers to help make our 6th Annual Kids & Sibs Camp a memorable experience for local children and families!

📅 August 20 & 21, 2026
📍 YMCA Camp Onyahsa, Dewittville, NY

Volunteers will assist with activities, games, crafts, outdoor adventures, and provide support and encouragement to campers throughout the day. No special experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help make a difference!

✅ Must be at least 13 years old
✅ Volunteer training provided
✅ Great opportunity to give back to the community and earn service hours

Volunteers Needed for Kids & Sibs Camp!

Kids & Sibs Camp is looking for caring and dedicated volunteers to help make this year’s 2-day camp a success!

📅 August 20 & August 21
🕗 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 YMCA Camp Onyahsa

This special camp brings together children with disabilities and their siblings for two days of fun, connection, and unforgettable memories. But we can’t make it happen without the support of volunteers from our community. The number of volunteers we receive directly impacts whether camp can continue each year.

Volunteer Roles May Include:

Group Leaders – Help guide one of the camp’s color groups, assist with attendance, schedules, and check-in/out.
Group Floaters – Support groups where needed, and help with small tasks throughout the day.
One-on-One Helpers “Best Friends” – Spend the day with one camper who may need additional support.
Two-on-One Helpers – Assist a camper who may need extra guidance during activities, with another volunteer's help.
Activity Leaders – Help run activities like sports or other fun camp experiences.

💙 Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone 13 years or older
Individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a difference.

Letters for employers or schools verifying volunteer service are available upon request
