With sad news, we share the loss of one of our own, Mikey McClain. There are some people who don’t just walk into your life, they echo through it forever. Mikey was one of those souls.

Part of our paranormal family, our team, our wild little tribe of believers. He brought a kind of light that no darkness could ever compete with. Equal parts hilarious and deeply faithful, he had that rare magic of making you laugh until your sides hurt, then turning around and grounding you with something meaningful and true.

From freezing, unforgettable dips in Lake Superior to the miles of Michigan roads that carried us from one haunted place to the next, every adventure felt bigger, brighter, and somehow funnier with Mikey there. Those late nights, the chills, the stories, the moments where the veil felt thin, they’re all stitched together with his laughter.

Life eventually pulled our team in different directions, as it does, but what we shared never faded. The love, the laughter, the miles, and the memories we built together are still as strong and alive as ever and always will be.

He didn’t just investigate the unknown… he embraced it, respected it, and reminded all of us why we were drawn to it in the first place.

It’s hard to imagine those days without him, probably cracking a joke right when things got too serious. But somehow, I think he’s still part of the crew… just on the other side of the investigation now.

We’ll carry you with us, Mikey. In every road trip, every flicker of light, every unexplained moment… and every laugh that comes a little too easily.

Love you always, friend. Until we meet again.
