168 golfers + 128 sponsors/donors + 13 volunteers! Our biggest and best outing! Thanks John Nagel & Centennial Golf Course for an outstanding event!

As soon as announcements were done it started to drizzle and it pretty much lightly rained on and off all day. There was no way that rain was going to ruin one of the best outings we have ever had!

We had many returning teams of family and friends - one that traveled from New York (Peggy Sue and Jimmy Too!) and Idaho (J.D. Roy) and some great new player/teams this year as well!

During the morning announcements I shared that our golf outing has become so much more than a fundraiser—it has grown into an annual reunion of family, friends, and an incredible community that continues to surround us with love. Looking out and seeing so many familiar faces, along with new ones joining our mission, truly filled my heart.

Shortly before Brandon passed away, he asked me if someday I could raise money to give kids more treatment options. That simple wish became a promise. Together, we continue to honor Brandon’s wish and will continue to fight for a cure for him and all the children that suffer from this devastating disease.

Every hug, every smile, every volunteer, sponsor, donor, golfer, and supporter is proof that Brandon’s legacy lives on. Because of your generosity and partnership, hope continues to grow for children and families facing childhood cancer.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in our mission, for standing beside our family, and for making this day feel like a reunion of people united by love, compassion, and purpose. You are the reason Brandon’s legacy continues to shine, and I am forever grateful. ❤️

Today is a remarkable day - not just because we gathered for our 19th Annual Golf for Gordie, but because we were able to announce a milestone in our goals to find treatment protocols - and eventually, a cure - for children's cancer.

President and founder Julie (Gordon) Boulton announced publicly this morning that on June 22, she officially signed the paperwork to partner with the Dana-Farber Institute for three new clinical trials for osteosarcoma. We have pledged $500,000 in honor of Brandon.

In 2026, we have collaborated with other organizations that have pledged more than $3.3 MILLION DOLLARS for osteosarcoma research with two of the top osteosarcoma researchers in this country.

Osteosarcoma research gets very little, if any, federal funding. This is an immense accomplishment for the Brandon's Defense Foundation, run solely by volunteers. We could not possibly have done this without our network of generous donors, golfers, and partnerships that help us in our quest to improve outcomes for children battling cancer.

Westin Oakley, Brandon's nephew, ceremonially teed off this morning's golf outing - and on behalf of the foundation and Brandon's family, we thank EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has been a part of this journey with us.
