Milo has truly mastered the sad eyes. He knows when he shoots me this look I’m breaking out the treats. He’s doing great btw, you would think he is the saddest dog in the world with this look but he is settling in well after surgery. If you’d like to bring Mr. Sad Eyes into your home he is available for adoption, just shoot an email to info@campgoldenyears with your name, location, and reason you’d like to adopt a senior and we will be in touch to see if it’s a good fit :)

Gypsy girl recently came back to Camp after not working out in her new home. She was fantastic but she had a sister that didn’t like her and she just couldn’t get settled in. The family was heartbroken they couldn’t keep her but knew it was best for her to find a situation she could settle in comfortably. She is available for adoption again and someone will get the sweetest gal when they bring her in to their family. She is very well behaved and is good with little dogs, big dogs, and kids . She will be fine being the only dog or would have no issue fitting into a well adjusted pack. The only issue we have had with her is she likes to hassle our (5) cats…. But after getting a few bibbidy baps across the face she backed off, she also responds well to correction so if she knows it’s not a behavior you tolerate she won’t do it. Either way we want to play it safe and find a home with no cats. She does fantastic with our 120 lb big goofy male Dane and was good with a 5 lb chihuahua in her old home. She would settle in to a home with a dog or small pack that isn’t territorial as she does like to be near you and loves cuddles so your dog has to be willing to share:)

With that being said if a family is interested in her please email [email protected] and lets us know why you think she would do well with you. Also if y’all can’t adopt but still want to support we are running low on food so please consider sending in a bag from our Chewy list which you can find in our link in the profile or on our website :)

Gypsy is located in Arizona. Locals get preference for adoption but for the right home I am willing to personally drive her anywhere :)

Just picked up little man, Milo from the vet! He had his mass removed and a dental while he was under. He will be ready for adoption soon! Thank Y’all!

11 year-old Milo needs our help! This fella finds himself without a family and in need of surgery to remove a ruptured mass on his ear. If y’all can help pitch in we would be willing to enlist him into Camp today and set up his surgery ! We would like to remove the mass and have it biopsied so we can find out if it’s cancerous or not. If all goes well this little man will be at Camp soon and on his next mission to find a family that will love and care for him for the rest of his golden years:) Let’s do it all!

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how happy old man Otis is this morning wearing his new Christmas sweater while relaxin’ with his new forever family:)

Otis was a little depressed when he got here and wouldn’t hardly eat anything. We tried it all only to find out the one thing that got him up-and-at-it was …hot dogs! When you broke out a hot dog he turned into a little Joey Chestnut. Well, a pack of franks later and he is now back to feelin’ himself and eatin’ Camp chow just like the rest of the recruits. Let’s hope they don’t figure out his secrete!
