Its been pretty quiet here lately! Last Fall we made some improvements out at the Track to accommodate running 2 sleds side by side for efficiently! Its Crazy to think Winter flew by, and before you know it'll be Summer and Festival time!

That being said, there will be a Club Meeting this Sun April 12th at the Deweese Community Center. 4:00! Any and all are welcomed! We are always looking for more helpers, and inputs for activities through the year!

Don't feel like cooking today? Dont worry, the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Dept has you covered! Pancakes this morning until early afternoon. And then a pork Sandwich meal tonight! There will be current, and Former Husker Alum! There will be a conversion going on with them as well. Theres many great items on the Live and Silent Auction, and as well as the Raffle, and Kids Raffle! Come out, and support a great group of people!

Coming up! We have a few local organizations having their annual events! First one is this Sunday, Feb 15th Supporting a great group of people helping local cancer patients and St Judes! See Flyer for details!

Then in a couple weeks, the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Dept is having their annual Pancake Feed and Pork Supper! Thats Feb 28th! All sorts of things going on that day!

THANK YOU

Thank you to all the teams that participated in this year's C**n Calling Contest. We had 41 total teams with 3 of them being youth. With the teams that checked in at the end of the contest, there were 594 counted c***s. With the help of sponsors and participants, there was a purse of $5,275 and we are looking forward to making this a yearly event!

RESULTS

1st Place: Backyard Bandits with 70 C**ns- $1,700
2nd Place: 42 Krue with 65 C**ns- $1,000
3rd Place: Trash Panda with 54 C**ns- $500

Youth Class
1st: Trash Panda Patrol with 3 C**ns- $300

Biggest C**n: Dirt Nap Daydreamers, 29.94lbs- $900
Smallest C**n: RingTail Bandit, 5.6lbs- $875

We hope all the participants have had fun the last 23 hrs. We still have a little over an hr until the Hunt is over! We've got food and beverages ready at the Community Center for any Hunters that entered the Contest. Free Will Donation for any Non Hunters wanting food! Morgan will be ready by 5:30 to start checking in your totals until 7:00!

Thanks for everyone that made this another "Good One" for the Deweese Community Club!
