Lindsay Kellock has been selected as a participating rider for the 2026 Capital Square Masterclass with Carl Hester MBE!

Lindsay, a Canadian Olympian, Pan American Games gold medalist, and international Grand Prix dressage rider, will ride Ice Queen Eden (Asgard’s Ibiza x De Niro), an eight-year-old Hanoverian mare owned by Melissa Schiff Soros and bred by Nedergaard Dressage (DEN).

“I’m incredibly honored and excited to have been selected for the Masterclass,” Lindsay said. “Carl is someone I have admired throughout my career, and the opportunity to learn from him is truly special.”

Lehua Custer is our next participating rider for the 2026 Capital Square Masterclass with Carl Hester!

Lehua, a Florida-based professional, will ride her own U.S.-bred Fortunato H2O OLD (Floriscount x Rascalino), a ten-year-old Oldenburg stallion bred by Kendra Hansis of Runningwater Warmbloods.

“It is a huge honor to ride in the famous Dixon Oval with the master Carl Hester,” Lehua said of being selected to ride in this year’s Masterclass.

Lehua is a USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medalist with distinction, a USDF Young Horse Prospect Forum staff instructor, and an accomplished coach, from the grassroots level to the 2021 Tokyo Paralympics. She’s been named to the USEF Development and Pre-Elite list and is an active FEI competitor.

“Tuna” boasts an equally impressive resume, including a team bronze medal as a six-year-old at the 2022 World Championships in Hernig, Denmark, with Roxanne Trunnell aboard; considerable success at the small tour level with plans to move into the Grand Prix ring this year; and a thriving career as a licensed breeding stallion.

You won’t want to miss this impressive pair, who have been a team since Lehua bought Tuna when he was just 10 minutes old, as they ride with the legendary Carl Hester MBE.

We're pleased to announce Denise Steele as our next participating rider for the 2026 Capital Square Masterclass with Carl Hester at Dressage at Devon!

Denise, a North Carolina-based amateur and FEI rider, will ride Donja KWG, a 13-year-old Swiss Warmblood mare (For Romance x Samarant) owned by Ken Steele and bred in Switzerland by Walter Kunz.

“What an amazing honor to be selected out of a host of qualified applicants,” Denise said. “I almost fell over when I got the news!”

A self-proclaimed lifelong student of the sport, Denise and her Grand Prix-veteran mount Donja KWG will undoubtedly be an exciting pair to watch as they learn from one of the best in the sport.
