We're less than one month away from the 24th Annual French Creek Iron Tour! 🚴

When you ride in the Iron Tour, you get to see the land you're helping protect. Ride past "Preserved Forever" signs that highlight properties with conservation easements. Your participation helps improve land and water health, restore wildlife habitat, plant native trees and flowers, and create and manage public trails within our communities.

If you haven't already registered to ride, we hope you'll join us next month. Cyclists of all skill levels are welcome to ride. Come enjoy the fun while supporting conservation! All proceeds support French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust's mission to preserve, steward and connect people to the land in northern Chester County, PA.

Join us for an evening at Historic Yellow Springs with historian and author Dr. Emily Sneff as she presents “When the Declaration of Independence Was News”, as seen recently in the Wall Street Journal.

Dr. Sneff’s lecture will focus on the nation’s founding document at the moment of its creation in 1776, before anyone knew what the legacy of the Declaration would be or if the United States would win the War against Great Britain. She will explore how the Declaration was communicated to people in the new nation and around the Atlantic world, and reveal the stories of the many people involved in the process of declaring independence, from printers to soldiers and to diplomats and translators.
